bobby conn rocks my world

in more ways than one.

1) bobby and the band were dressed up in lavendar (lighter than purple, but not quite pink) skin tight leather pants and jackets. very '70s-esque (except for the color scheme perhaps, but what do i know about the '70s?)
2) he puts on a great show and seems like a nice guy (as do the rest of his band). he (and the band) was (were) extremely courteous to the sound ppl despite troubles and it being almost 1am. everyone on stage actually looked like they were having fun playing for, what, maybe 20 ppl left? fun fun fun.
3) the bear paws in a fine, fine example of inter-song banter, mr bobby conn proceeds to wield these crazy fury bear paws and walk the audience caressing people's faces and crotches. i was one of the lucky recipients of the bear paw. but, alas, only on the face and not the crotch.... such is life.
4) bobby conn is really small/short. he was wearing some pretty big platform shoes. and scary looking in that makeup he was wearing last night. is it true that he's done time?
