walking to a movie tonight, i happened to pass two minivans blocking a one way street. one van (lic. plates from jersey) was apparently asking for directions from the other. the entire exchange must have taken at least 30 seconds. which is typically way more than plenty of time for the steadily growing number of cars growing behind them to begin laying on their horns.

but nary a car did. in fact, the only honking done was by the jersey van in the beginning in order to get the other van's attention.

wow. and all this just in front of a freshly turned green traffic light.
