reunions and family fun time
what do you get when you put a lof of filipinos in a secluded home in the woods?

just got back from a family reunion in the kinda rainy northwest. i finally met my aunt and uncle who don't live in the states and was pleasantly surprised to see that silliness does, indeed, run in the family. during the wedding vow renewal thing, said uncle was seen making silly faces at family members.

mind you, this was from the step to the altar of a church during mass, so not only were family members witness to these shinanigans, but the rest of the congregation as well. and large portions of my extended family are really religious, too.

this time around, i only got to hang with my brothers for about a day each, so that was kinda sad, but good times nonetheless and we got in the requisite "brothers pic" that we always get @ family fun time events.
